Make Summer even better with the easy pool noodle floating cooler DIY. Fill it with drinks and you can lounge poolside for the whole day!
Ever since I was little, I had a pool to swim in during the Summer. My next door neighbors had a pool and Summer was often spent going to pool parties at friends’ houses. Of course, I had a pool in my own backyard, as well. Every Summer, I turned into a little mermaid and swam until my fingers and toes wrinkled into tiny, peach prunes.

I don’t spend nearly as much time in the water anymore. While time in the pool no longer consists of games of Marco Polo, making whirlpools or races to the edge, I do enjoy jumping into the water to cool off during a sweltering hot, Summer day!

We don’t have a pool of our own to swim in (or even the room in our yard to consider one), but we’re lucky to have family that does. My sister-in-law has a nice, big pool to enjoy at her house and my parents, who don’t live very far from us, also have one.
I’m predicting a steamy, humid Summer this year so I’ll probably dig out my bathing suit at least once or twice. I figure, since I’ll be taking advantage of the family pool, I should at least bring something with me. They provide the pool and raft and I’ll provide the cooler and drinks!
