Wondering how to make Instant Pot iced tea? I’ve got your answer with this simple Ginger Peach Iced Tea recipe. With just a few ingredients, you’ll be sipping your new favorite summer drink in less than 30 minutes.
I’m not sure what it is, but I love the combination of ginger and peach. Between desserts, baked goods and drinks – the flavor combination is always light and refreshing.
While I love my ginger peach smoothies, my go-to drink is ginger peach iced tea. And there’s nothing quite the same as freshly brewed ginger peach iced tea.
I love making sun tea, especially this Simple Raspberry Lemon Sun Tea Recipe. But it takes quite awhile. And when I want a refreshing glass of iced tea to beat the heat, I’d prefer to have it sooner than later.
This it yet another reason to love the Instant Pot. In less than 30 minutes, you can have freshly brewed ginger peach iced tea that was made with little effort. Then you can just pour it in an insulated travel mug and get back to enjoying summer.
Now if you’re wondering how to make iced tea in the Instant Pot, I’ve got you covered. Instant Pot iced tea is ridiculously easy! There are tons of Instant Pot iced tea recipes out there for normal tea or even sweet tea, but this recipe is extra special with the ginger and peach combo.
You need pretty much the same ingredients for Instant Pot iced tea as you do for regular tea which makes it even more of a no brainer!
A quick note before we get to the recipe though:
If you like stronger tea and want to leave the tea bags in a little longer, add a pinch of baking soda prior to brewing. Otherwise remove the tea bags as soon as the pressure has been fully released to prevent any bitterness.
Ginger Peach Iced Tea (Instant Pot Iced Tea)
- 8 Cups Water
- 6 Black Tea Bags Tags Removed
- 4 Fresh Peaches Pitted and cut into chunks
- 1 Tbsp Fresh Ginger Minced or grated
- Honey Optional

Add the water, tea bags, peach chunks, and minced ginger to the Instant Pot and stir to combine.

Add the lid and lock into place. Switch the vent to “Sealing” and set the “Manual” setting on normal for 5 minutes.

When finished, allow the pressure to release naturally (NR) for 10-15 minutes. then do a quick release (QR) to allow the remaining pressure to escape.

Carefully strain the hot tea mixture with a fine mesh strainer to remove the solids. Pour the remaining liquid into a large, heat-resistant pitcher.

Sweeten with honey (optional) and stir to combine. Serve over ice with peach slices and springs of fresh mint for garnishes if desired.
