How To Make This Balsamic Peach Dessert
This quick, easy peach dessert is one of my favorites because of how simple it is to throw together. It’s six steps and can easily be doubled if feeding a bigger crowd.
Step 1: Place the top oven rack in the center position and preheat the oven to 350F. Line a large rimmed baking sheet with a baking mat.
Step 2: Arrange the peach halves on the baking sheet and spread the balsamic vinegar over the surface with a pastry brush. Sprinkle the cinnamon on top of the peach halves.
Step 3: Drizzle two tablespoons of the maple syrup (leaving 1/2 tablespoon set aside) on top of the peach halves. Use the pastry brush to spread it out over the entire surface.
Step 4: Place the baking sheet in the oven and bake for 25-30 minutes or until the peaches are tender/warmed through.
Step 5: While the peaches are baking, pour the heavy cream into a medium mixing bowl and beat until fluffy. Add the 1/2 tablespoon of maple syrup into the heavy cream and beat until thoroughly combined.
Step 6: Remove the peaches from the oven and serve warm with a dollop of the maple whipped cream. Top with additional cinnamon, if desired.
