Looking to make a unique gift? Or an easy way to refresh your home? This simple DIY Room Freshener Spray is the perfect homemade solution!
I don’t know how it happened, but the holidays are SO close to being here! This year is so different for us with Lily around. It makes the holidays so much more exciting! I used to love the holidays as a little girl and continued to as I grew up, just in a very different way. With her, I get to relive some of that joy as a little girl and I am beyond excited.
With her in our lives, we’ll be seeing more of our family over the next month and a half. (By the way, no one gave me the memo when I was pregnant that everyone would want to stop seeing me and would be totally content just seeing our little peanut.) Whether we’re traveling or guests are staying here, I want it to feel a little bit like home. And since we’re also aiming for handmade gifts this year, I came up with the perfect gift:
A DIY Room Freshener Spray.
It’s an awesome gift, a great way to personalize your guest room or a simple way to make your stay with family as relaxing as possible. It uses just a few ingredients, including essential oils.
Essential oils can be so soothing and uplifting, especially over the holidays. And I love how versatile essential oils are. We use them for our products with The Gnarly Whale, but they can be used in so many things. Massage oil, diffusers, soaps, candles, home remedies and even more along with the DIY room freshener spray.
Nature’s Truth Essential Oils are the perfect option for all of these projects. They’ve got so many great scents, including:
- 4Thrive
- Eucalyptus
- Peppermint
- Good Nite
- Wintergreen
- Frankincense
- Cinnamon
Looking to grab your own? Head to Walgreens and find Nature’s Truth products in the vitamin aisle. And be sure to snag this $1.00 coupon before you go!
I used a couple of these for this DIY Room Freshener Spray. I opted for 4Thrive and Good Nite as I think their scents are perfect for relaxation. And who doesn’t need a little bit of relaxation when they’re visiting family?
The DIY Room Freshener Spray is super easy to make and customize if you know your guests preferences though, too.
