Looking for unicorn food for a unicorn party? We’re sharing an easy to make, 5 ingredient unicorn fudge recipe that you won’t want to miss!
Unicorns are a huuuuge hit around here lately. Lily decided that they are her favorite animal so it’s unicorn everything. Since her birthday is at the end of the month, I’m considering throwing a unicorn birthday party for her.
So I’ve been trying to figure out some unicorn party ideas. Some of my favorite finds are:
Even if we don’t throw that magical unicorn party for her birthday… I have the feeling we’ll be throwing some sort of unicorn party. Because there are so many cute unicorn party supplies that I feel like I… er, she… needs in her life.
I’ve also been trying to figure out some unicorn food ideas that would be perfect for a unicorn party. Something that’s easy to eat (and probably make) – but cute enough to go with all of the other unicorn party supplies.
That’s where this unicorn fudge came in!
With only five ingredients, this unicorn fudge is super easy to make. Even more so, this easy unicorn fudge recipe is easy to make with kids so it’s a win-win!
Also, it’s super cute unicorn food that everyone will love. Adults and kids love it! Plus, this unicorn fudge pairs perfectly with all of the unicorn party supplies I’ve been oogling.
Line a rectangular pan and a baking sheet with wax paper and set aside.
For the Unicorn Horns
Start by rolling 12 fondant spheres, about ¼” in diameter. You can use your cornstarch on your fingers to avoid the fondant from getting too sticky. Then, roll each sphere into a long strip, about 1 ½” in length.
Slightly fold over your strip and start twisting – this will act as your unicorn horn. Gently place each one on your lined baking sheet.
For the Fudge
In two separate microwave-safe bowls, microwave each chocolate in 30 second intervals until they are completely melted. Stir in between each 30 second interval. Combine.
In a small saucepan, warm condensed milk over medium heat but do not allow to boil. Add condensed milk into melted chocolate and stir.
Pour into lined rectangular pan and tap to even it out. Pour sprinkles on top of the fudge, place the fondant horns and chill for approximately 3 hours before serving.
Even if you aren’t going all out for a unicorn party, this is the perfect unicorn themed food for kids to help with. They can help roll the horns, sprinkle the sprinkles, and stir the chocolate as you melt it with your supervision. Plus, I’m sure they’ll love eating the unicorn fudge, too ;)
