Christmas music has already been on repeat in our house for the past week or so. Our tree is up and we’re putting a second one up this weekend. Sugar cookies are being made tomorrow and gifts are just waiting to be wrapped.
This is the first year in a long time that I got in the Christmas spirit early. It’s also the first year where I’m mostly ahead on everything. It’s weird, but good. I’d love for this to be the norm!
But December isn’t just about Christmas. There are so many wonderful things to celebrate in December which is what today’s post is all about. Besides the first day of winter, Christmas Eve and Day, and even New Year’s Eve – there are plenty of fun December holidays like:

P.S If you’re looking for the December Kindness Calendar, it’s on hold. I want to find a way to generate more of a community with this goal so I’m rethinking it for 2018. So it’ll be back in the new year, just maybe in a different form!
