Elevating Snacking While We’re on The Trail

This post is sponsored by Sahale Snacks but the content and opinions expressed here are my own.

Over the years, we’ve established what I would consider to be standard camping or hiking food for our travels. We’ve gone enough times as a family that we know what we like, what we actually make (not just what we talk about eating), and how much food we need to bring.

But this year, I realized it was getting a little… boring.

We were planning food for Lily’s birthday camping trip and I found myself less than enthused about our food packing list. So I changed it up a little, packing different desserts and snacks so we weren’t eating the same old, same old.

And it was SO much fun to change up the menu while camping. We had a few fails (like campfire cinnamon rolls), but most of it was awesome. And it made me want to change up our standard hiking snacks, too.

So I set out in search of some high quality, protein-based foods that wouldn’t melt in the heat. Then I remembered how much we loved the Sahale Snack mixes in the past and found out they had some new flavors since the last time we had them.

Some of the blends we tried recently included Sahale Snacks Cherry Cocoa Almond Coconut Snack Mix, Sahale Snacks Maple Pecans Glazed Mix, and Sahale Snacks the Honey Almonds Glazed Mix. And all of them are so good, especially if you’re looking for a new portable snack to grab on the go.

One of my favorite things about Sahale Snacks is their unique combinations of flavors that you can’t find anywhere else. Like who wouldn’t want to try the Sahale Snacks Pineapple Rum Cashew Coconut Snack Mix and Sahale Snacks Pomegranate Flavored Pistachios Glazed Mix as well?!

Plus, these Sahale Snacks mixes are non-GMO, gluten free, have no artificial preservatives and no artificial sweeteners. So you get thoughtfully sourced, carefully crafted nut, spice, and fruit blends that are deliciously fun ways to explore new flavor combinations. YUM!

We generally get the Sahale Snacks 4oz bags because they don’t last long in our home. We’ve found them at Target and have shopped for them on Amazon as well.

If you’re looking to elevate your snacking while hiking or enjoying the great outdoors, Sahale Snacks has you and your tastebuds cover. Check out their store locator to see where you can buy them near you.
