For months (years?) now, I’ve felt a little out of place in the blogging world. My last blog went through my biggest transitions in life so far and while I love having those memories, I am such a different person now.
My life goals have changed dramatically. When Nathan quit and The Gnarly Whale was our main focus, my priorities shifted. I went from having time to waste to not even being able to take time for myself on a regular basis. I’ve never quite bounced back from that and am still searching for that balance, but I’m doing better.
Which brings me to the blogging changes. Long story short, I didn’t know who I was or what I really wanted. I tried a lot of things, did a lot of things because I thought I had to, achieved goals I thought to be impossible, and so much more in the past.
But I never really felt like it was me.
So while I could have just altered the content, changed the layout, and found my “blogging self” – I wanted a fresh start. I wanted a new place where I knew who I was, what I wanted, and had a different journey to share with everyone.
And this is that fresh start. Hello Nature is my way of really reconnecting with with myself and what I’m about. I’m excited and, for the first time in a long time (possibly ever), I feel like this is exactly what it’s meant to be for me. I’m still in the process of adding pages and tweaking the layout, but I wanted to just launch it whether it was 100% ready or not. I was ready for it and that was all that mattered.
Thank you for following me over here. And if you’re brand new, definitely leave your link so I can visit your blog!
