Slow Cooker Bean Dip

Ingredients
  • 16 oz dried pinto beans
  • 6 cups chicken or vegetable broth
  • 2 cans diced tomatoes 14.5 oz
  • 2 cans green chilies 4oz
  • 1 medium onion diced
  • 2 Tbsp chili powder
  • 2 Tbsp cumin
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp salt
  • 1 Tbsp oregano
Instructions
  1. Rinse beans. Put in slow cooker.
  2. Add the rest of the ingredients except for tomatoes and cook on low for 8 hours.
  3. Once done, add 1 can of tomatoes.
  4. Puree mixture in blender in batches or puree directly in crock pot with immersion blender.
  5. Stir in remaining can of tomatoes.
  6. Serve hot with tortilla chips.
